This smart map lesson, I first with reading the "Smart Mapping: Dot Density" article to learn and understand the steps to map a dot density.
To start the a dot density map, I open the map viewer on the ArcGis and added the "ACS Housing Units Occupancy Variables - Boundaries" layers to the map viewer.

Then, I reset the field value to showcase the owner-occupied housing units and renter-occupied housing units as my dot values.

Next, I started to customize the dot density color to [red || yellow], reassign the dot value, and reword the dot legend and represent text.

Finally, I add outline to make the different areas dot value more visible.
