For my project proposal, the topic is very vague as Ms. Katie Taladay pointed out.
As an update of my project, I will be reworking the focus on the topic, which I try to bring the topic/storymap to focus on the shift of the Hawaii community and activities where covid-19 be the major changing factor. As a computer science student, I want to make the topic relate to computer technology or information. So, I would try to focus the shifting of the in-person activities to virtual or online activities from the field of education, workforce, and economy.
For map, scene, or app in the the final project storymap, I still using simple web map as visual example. After I have finally the storymap and it information, I be consider to formulate the map to scene or app.
Really love the increase in online shopping map/swipe feature. That one is striking. Still need to incorporate more features that we learned in this course such as a web app, dashboard, experience, or field data.
