In this exercise, I learn and explore the function and feature of web scene other than the 3D layer.
Enhance the web scene by editing 2D
First, I open the web app builder with the FunPark_POIs data layer, and it show layer data and object settings. Which it can edit the data on the layer, and I try and add a boat object to the layer.
The new bot object was add to web scene from the default data of the layer.
Performing basic 3D analysis in Scene Viewer
I also explore some of the tools. The daylight function, it show light and shadow of the time-of-day for 3D scene and object. However, one of the object is too big which it only can the shadow.
Another is the measure function, which it measure and highlight the distance and area within the scene.
Slice function is able to look at the interior of the object.
The slides list, which listed all the default view points of the web scene.
The 3D web scene is a detail and simple visualized web mapping. If I going to use and make 3D web scene, I possible uses for building floor plans, analyzing transportation flow, or networking.
